So this week Dad will be having a biopsy done on the tumor by his spine / lung on Thursday. He will have to stay a few for a few hours after. Also, this week, he will be having a port put in on Friday at St. Luke's hospital. The port is right under the skin by his shoulder, and this is how he will recieve his chemo treatments. This is easier than getting poked in the arm every single time! Chemo will start soon!!
Tonight he is having an MRI done on his liver. The doctors see something, so they want to take a closer look. So in the next few days we should know the results of the biopsy and MRI.
And he will have you know he has STOPPED SMOKING!!! Going strong since this past Friday. Way to go Dad!!
